Nurturing the Nurturer

A mindful retreat in the South of France that invites parents and carers to connect, reflect, relax and feel revived. This long weekend offers spacious time to be with yourself and with nature, balancing somatic yoga and stillness.

The art of slowing down and coming home to yourself.

What we offer

A nourishing blend of Mindfulness, movement and nature connection, woven together to support a deep sense of connection between body and mind. Each day gently unfolds and closes with restorative Yoga Nidra and mindful body scan practices, allowing you to rest, integrate, and settle.

Immersion in nature

Connection is at the heart of the retreat. You’ll be supported to connect inwardly with yourself, as well as outwardly with the natural beauty around you. Time in nature and shared experience within the group become part of the learning, offering insight, reflection, and a sense of belonging.

Expert Facilitation

Claire-Louise brings over 18 years of experience teaching yoga and mindfulness, both in groups and one-to-one settings. Her facilitation is thoughtful and responsive, supporting mind, body, and heart. Participants are gently guided toward feeling both rested and energised — with renewed vitality held within a sense of spacious calm.

Carol: As a parent herself, Carol understands that family life can be wonderfully rewarding but also incredibly challenging. Having experienced postnatal depression after the birth of both of her children, she knows first-hand the importance of looking after our own wellbeing. This personal experience, combined with her professional background, enables her to offer genuine empathy alongside practical, effective strategies.

Comfort and beauty

Our retreats prioritise comfort, care, and respect, so you can arrive just as you are and fully engage in the experience. We offer a range of beautiful single and twin rooms, and all meals throughout the weekend are lovingly prepared by Jon, with menus tailored to suit your dietary needs.

  • "The yoga retreat gave time for quiet practice thoughtfully guided by Claire-Louise in the beautiful space she has created. Each day was planned to give us time to pause and reflect and finally wind down at the end of the day often joined by neighbours from the village."

Delicious  meals were prepared tailored to individual needs with time to relax together or slip quietly away at the end of the day.

    A wonderful and restorative experience.

One afternoon we wandered by a lake and marvelled at the sun on the snow on the mountain peaks.

    Thank you Clare- Louise.
