Softening into Summer

Through somatic movement, yoga and mindful awareness, we can begin to release unnecessary tension, move with greater ease and listen more closely to the body's subtle sensations and needs. Rather than trying to make something happen, we allow movement to emerge from listening.

A summer retreat of movement, stillness and nature connection.

Softening into Summer

Summer invites us to slow down, open our senses and find our own natural rhythm.

In the warmth and beauty of the South of France, this gentle weekend offers space to step away from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with ourselves and the world around us.

Through mindful movement, yoga, meditation and time in nature, we will explore what it means to soften: to release the pressure to do and achieve, to listen to the wisdom of the body, and to meet ourselves with greater kindness and curiosity.

With time to pause, wander, rest and reflect, we will create space to hear the quieter voice of intuition and discover what emerges when we allow ourselves simply to be.

An invitation to slow down, reconnect and return home feeling more grounded, spacious and in tune with yourself and the natural world.

What we offer

A nourishing blend of Scaravelli and Yin Yoga, woven together with mindfulness to support a deep sense of connection between body and mind. Each day gently unfolds and closes with restorative Yoga Nidra and mindful body scan practices, allowing you to rest, integrate, and settle.

Immersion in nature

Connection is at the heart of the retreat. You’ll be supported to connect inwardly with yourself, as well as outwardly with the natural beauty around you. Time in nature and shared experience within the group become part of the learning, offering insight, reflection, and a sense of belonging.

Expert Facilitation

Claire-Louise brings over 18 years of experience teaching yoga and mindfulness, both in groups and one-to-one settings. Her facilitation is thoughtful and responsive, supporting mind, body, and heart. Participants are gently guided toward feeling both rested and energised — with renewed vitality held within a sense of spacious calm.

Comfort and beauty

Our retreats prioritise comfort, care, and respect, so you can arrive just as you are and fully engage in the experience. We offer a range of beautiful single and twin rooms, and all meals throughout the weekend are lovingly prepared by Jon, with menus tailored to suit your dietary needs.

  • "The yoga retreat gave time for quiet practice thoughtfully guided by Claire-Louise in the beautiful space she has created. Each day was planned to give us time to pause and reflect and finally wind down at the end of the day often joined by neighbours from the village."

Delicious  meals were prepared tailored to individual needs with time to relax together or slip quietly away at the end of the day.

    A wonderful and restorative experience.

One afternoon we wandered by a lake and marvelled at the sun on the snow on the mountain peaks.

    Thank you Clare- Louise.
